Sometimes I wonder if the A.V. Club Gotham reviewers went to Wrongness School of Advanced Study to be this wrong. Nobody can be that consistently, bewilderingly wrong about everything without training.

My reservations about Gotham are evaporating. I greatly enjoyed this episode. To the horror of little boys all over the internet, the masculine power fantasy of the Nolanverse is losing out to a still dark but more whimsical aesthetic. Sound familiar? Well, it's not good, but neither was Arrow at first or Birds of Prey ever, and I watched those.*
